lvl 80 and beyond!

Thats right I hit level 80 about a week ago and I have just been running heroics farming my triumph and frost badges. I'm currently sitting with 4/5 t9 set and loving as my damage increases with every new peice of gear and as I master my rotations.

lvl 70 today :)

Yes that's right, I am now level 70 and questing in Northrend. I actually left Outlands at 68 to go to Northrend, but I decided to hold off posting until I was officially in the final bracket of wow leveling. I've noticed a significant dps boost in the past few levels, maybe due to gear upgrades, but also due to some very nice talent and rotation changes. I for the first time also started using a fist weapon, it currently does more dps than my boa sword so I'll use it for a few levels.
I am really starting to love playing my rogue now, and am eagerly awaiting fan of knives!!! :) and kicking chases ass in pvp :)
over and out.

Boxing Day!

I haven't got to play much over the last few days due to the holidays, I am currently lvl 51. I speculate I'll be lvl60 by tomorrow night... or monday latest.
Not much to update on, using two heirloom weapons and the heirloom shoulders, chest, and bow. So not having much gearing issues :)

I'm back

Well, like the title says, I am back playing Swift my rogue. I took a short break to level my warrior the rest of the way to 80, then I took a week to gear him out as a tank and now...I once again haunt the 40 - 49 BG's! Yes that's right I'm only 46 at the moment but I've just started up again! I am sporting at least 4 BOA heirlooms right now so it's going pretty fast.
The new patch 3.3 is amazing and its fast and easy to find a group for instances, however I still think questing is the fastest way possible to 80. So I'll be doing a combination of questing, bgs, and dungeons.
I will be transferring servers once I hit lvl60 to be with my warrior and some Real life friends on Dalvengyr so that should be exciting!

Anyways I'll keep this updated as much as possible,

Swift

GoodBye Duskwood - Hello Ashenvale pt.2

As I said my goodbyes to one of my favorite questing regions, I unfortunately have been sent back to Ashenvale to finish some old quests and begin a bunch of new ones. Now don't get me wrong, it's not the worst zone in Azeroth by far, but I must say, the dull night elf music begins to drive me crazy after logging a few hours (I know I could turn it down, and I do, but it keeps playing in my head). I'm level 32 now and am eagerly awaiting level 34 when I get Blind ^^ That will show those damn kiting hunters!

Off to Darkshire

I finished up questing in Redridge Mountains today and headed south down to Duskwood. The sun is blotted out by the old rotting forest of Duskwood, where all sorts of nightmare creatures lurk around every hill and tree. Nestled in the midst of the forest is the small town of Darkshire, where residents form their own militia to defend their town from ghosts, ghouls, and werewolves. I feel like I've stepped into the town of Sleepy Hollow and find myself moving around in stealth more often than normal to avoid unwanted trouble. Today I reached lvl 31 and will most likely be spending another night in Duskwood before moving elseware.

Paranormal Activity...

What a night...
Lets take a healthy step away from WoW for a second and talk about the movie I just went and saw...Paranormal Activity. I'd like to start by saying it's the scariest movie I've personally seen in a very long time. I'm left with a sort of eerie vibe as I replay it over in my mind. For all you thrill seekers out there looking to spend a little time away from the keyboard, I strongly recommend this movie...however you may want to leave the kids at home...unless you want to tend to nightmare riddled young ones for weeks/months.

Alright back to the good stuff! I am questing over in Lakeshire now, one of my favorite areas in Azeroth, and perhaps, the entire game. I met up with a mage and fellow rogue earlier to kill one of the elite group quest mobs (I could have soloed him but I always like the company and helping other people out). Besides that I didn't do much today with work and the movie. I'm logging in now though and will update this post later regarding my progress.

edit: Last night I decided I'd level through battlegrounds for a bit, as I have reached lvl29. I did pretty good, but not great. As a pretty experienced rogue I was loosing fights I know I should be able to win, against classes I should be able to beat. The problem is at this level, its pretty easy for a lot of classes to kite you and slow you down in the process. I dont yet have blind or KS or deadly throw to use to manipulate the fight. Looks like its time to break the 30 bracket and claim my new skills.
